TS Kit (ABCA 416238)
Kit was retired from breeding in 2021 but is still competing in sheep and cattledog trials. In 2023 she and Angie won Reserve National Champion Sheep Dog at the MSSA National Finals -- one of only two teams out of 24 to earn full points in the final round (see run). In 2022 Guy and Kit placed 4th in Intermediate Sheep at MSSA National Finals. Kit comes from cattle lines and was bred by Troy Spoon. She will bite either end and hold her own. Watch this video of her sorting out a single bull. She has a nice outrun, good balance, and is very obedient. If Kit had a middle name, it would be "Happy". She is the most naturally enthusiastic, joyful dog we've ever seen. She is easy to be around and gets along with everyone, whether two-legged or four. She adapts to new situations well. Although a relatively small dog at just over 19" and 33 lbs, she is exceptionally powerful and fearless. Kit is DNA tested as clear for all genetic disorders affecting border collies, including early onset deafness. She is also BAER and CERF tested normal and PennHip tested in the 80% percentile .
